TOP 5: HOW IT WORKS

The first Top 5 for each Region & for State is published the first Monday in March and every Monday thereafter.
We check 1A school websites for track schedules. We put them on a schedule spreadsheet to keep up with all of them. This spreadsheet is posted at the top of this page - you can view it any time you wish - if there is one you don't see, let us know! Not every 1A school posts their track schedule.
We constantly check three or four different track results websites for 1A teams.
If track results do not appear on the website, I contact the coach to have the results emailed to us.
We do not accept track results taken by those watching in the stands timing on a stop watch or their phone. We feel it is best to report the official times (we've become very good at pestering coaches for official results).
We strive to do our very best to get results for EVERY JV and Varsity 1A trackster!
We have one person who compiles all this info. It is a lot of numbers and sometimes there is human error. If you see an error, let us know. Be gentle. We can assure you this is not done on purpose.

Our goal:
Give 1A kids a way to see their name in the Top 5 in the region and/or state and give coaches a little easier time tracking results and where their tracksters are in relation to the region and rest of the state.
